Sweatlodge Ceremony, TBA ,
Welcome friends to our web site. In the past few months we have had many inquiries as to when the sweat ceremonies will resume. As many of you know we took a hiatus for a little while.
After writing to everyone with the news of our hiatus we were humbled to have received over 30 emails from friends who shared stories of how much the sweat meant to them. It was very touching to hear how our gatherings have changed peoples lives... as you have also changed ours.
Monte, Monique and I are pleased to say that we hope to have the beautiful and sacred ceremony offered again very soon, Our current location will be used for private sweats and to our dedicated and experienced sweat brothers and sisters who have become part of a long lineage.
The larger sweat ceremonies will welcome all, including beginners and will be held at a new and beautiful location to be disclosed soon. All I can say right now is that the location will be in Ocean County and has wonderful energy. We are currently in the process of working out all the logistics.
Our desire is to once again offer the ceremonies to all who would like to attend.. hopefully beginning in November. Please take a moment to join our mailing list so we may keep you updated.
The Sweat Lodge Purification Ceremony, is a traditional way of cleansing the body, mind and spirit. By sweat and prayer, we cleanse our bodies of toxins, our minds of negativity's and heighten our spiritual awakening through self-realization. It brings us into a balanced relationship with ourselves, the earth and everything that surrounds us.
Perhaps another explanation for the Sweat Ceremony’s spirituality is its association with re-birth. The rejuvenating effects of the sweat, combined with its physical characteristics, make it a natural place for purification and rebirth rituals. The warm, dark, moist ambiance inside a sweat bath is easily likened to a womb, even the womb of Mother Earth herself.

You don’t need to have
any special prior ‘talent’ for healing, all you need is the
interest to learn Reiki, and an open-minded attitude.
Reiki is a natural form
of healing. Reiki means "universal life force" and this energy
is channeled through the practitioner during a Reiki healing
session. The ability to channel Reiki is transferred to the student
by the Reiki master during an attunement process, which will be
explained during the course.
Reiki does not involve
any belief system and can therefore be ethically and safely
practiced by anyone. Your own beliefs, religion or thinking about
how Reiki actually works, are up to you.
We teach Reiki
according to the traditional Usui method, with the emphasis on
supporting each person to discover and develop their healing
abilities at their own pace. Reiki I is wonderfully beneficial for
everyone, for some people it is enough just to be able to help
themselves and their loved ones. Other find that they want to
continue with Reiki to develop their healing abilities and as part
of their spiritual path. Whatever path you choose we are their to
guide you along your journey.
